By using our website or voluntarily providing information to us, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, including:

  • Email address

  • Mobile phone number

  • ZIP code

  • Year of birth or age range

  • Gender or other demographic information

  • General geographic information

  • Survey interests and preferences

  • Survey and research responses

  • Communication preferences and consent records

  • Organization or campaign information when submitting a project inquiry

  • Information you provide when contacting Insight 84

2. Insight 84 Survey Panel

Individuals may voluntarily join the Insight 84 Survey Panel to receive opportunities to participate in surveys and other research.

Information provided when joining the panel may be used to:

  • Maintain and administer our survey panel

  • Determine eligibility for particular research projects

  • Invite panel members to participate in relevant surveys

  • Understand the composition of our research panel

  • Conduct public-opinion and community research

  • Improve the quality and representativeness of our research

Joining the panel does not require participation in every survey. Panel members may choose whether to participate when they receive an invitation.

3. Survey Responses

Insight 84 may analyze survey responses in aggregate and report findings through research reports, presentations, websites, publications, or other materials.

We do not publicly identify an individual's survey responses by name unless the individual has specifically agreed to such disclosure.

Survey responses may be analyzed alongside demographic or geographic characteristics for legitimate research purposes.

 

4. Email Communications

If you choose to receive email communications, Insight 84 may send you survey invitations, research opportunities, panel-related information, and other communications consistent with your preferences.

You may unsubscribe from marketing or survey-invitation emails at any time using the unsubscribe option provided in the communication.

5. Text Messages

If you separately consent to receive text messages, Insight 84 may send survey invitations and research-related communications to the mobile number you provide.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of participating in the Insight 84 Survey Panel.

You may reply STOP to opt out of text messages or HELP for assistance.

We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

That last sentence is particularly important for your SMS program.

6. How We Use Information

Insight 84 may use collected information to:

  • Conduct surveys, polling, and research

  • Operate and maintain the Insight 84 Survey Panel

  • Send requested survey invitations and communications

  • Respond to project inquiries

  • Analyze research results

  • Produce aggregate statistics and reports

Research clients may receive aggregate or de-identified research results. Personally identifiable panel information will not be provided to a research client unless disclosure has been clearly communicated to the participant and appropriate consent has been obtained.

Insight 84 uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information.

However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate our research panel, provide services, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, maintain appropriate business records, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

11. Your Choices

You may:

  • Decline to participate in any survey

  • Unsubscribe from email communications

  • Opt out of text messages by replying STOP

  • Request removal from the Insight 84 Survey Panel

  • Request that we update or correct information you have provided

12. Third-Party Services

Our website and research activities may use third-party services for website hosting, analytics, survey administration, email, SMS communications, or other functions.

Those services may process information according to their own privacy policies and their agreements with Insight 84.

13. Children's Privacy

The Insight 84 Survey Panel is not intended for people under 18, and we do not knowingly solicit personal information from people under 18 through the panel.

Individual research projects may establish additional age or eligibility requirements.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When material changes are made, we will update the Last Updated date shown at the top of this page.
